Why hello! I’m on tour with Chip Taylor & John Platania (with Israel Nash Gripka) in Holland… day off in rainy Leeuwarden… fabulous tour. I just love these lovely Dutch folks. It’s been a year and a half since I’ve toured here and it’s so good to be back, seeing some friends I know and making new ones! Thank you all for coming out to the shows, hanging out to chat afterwards, and keeping in touch via facebook etc. I seem to do a better job updating FB than my website, but I will try harder! Thanks also to Bert Pijpers & the CRS team, Marcel & Vivesco, and Milan for making this tour smooth and amazing. yeah!
So… anyhow… I had a quick little link to share with you. I have these crazy friends from Toronto, and back in February i worked on a little project with them. OK not so little. They are a bitchin’ pop band and they are gonna be huge. You have to see them live. They are called Sweet Thing & they’re about to release their debut album on EMI, with a Canadian tour coming up in late may. I will be at the shows dancing my arse off, just like in this video.
Video?! Yeah. Sweet Thing just so happened to be shooting their first video for their single off the album (Dance Mother) – and they enlisted me to be an evil-blonde-car-chasing-boat-racing-plane-flying-heart-stealing-warrior-villain. Cars? Chases? Evil? Me? ok! goodtimes. We worked with amazing director Christopher Mills, and you can see the final HD product here:
